Great book if you want to learn more about grading diamonds. I had a job in a pawn shop where they taught me the basics but I wanted to do the best I could so I purchased this. It could do with an upgrade as far as pictures and everything go but this is just basic information that doesn't really change. Some of it had to do with not just using a loupe to grade diamonds which was not very helpful for me since that was all I could use but overall it was very helpful.
