At the age of 37 I have noticed a lot of changes in my body that I am not 100% happy with, and one of those changes is a loss of flexibility. It explains the importance of stretching, the different types of stretching, the benefits of stretching, how to relieve muscle pain and so much more. The stretches that are detailed in this book have pictures to accompany them, which is helpful but if you are like me you may want to look up a video online of any of the more complicated stretches to make sure that you are doing them right. This is a fact-filled book that really very extensively covers stretching. The authors don't just tell their audience how to perform stretches. The authors do an excellent job of explaining why your body needs to stretch, how to stretch, how not to stretch and how to use resistance or ballet bands to stretch more effectively.There are also specific stretches to perform, along with some pictures and a written description of the stretch.This is a fascinating book. I knew some of the anatomy and medical issues covered in this book and many were new to me. I have a greater understanding of the mechanisms of the body while working out, stretching and the importance of warming up, cooling down and preparing your body to allow it to give the best it can.Great information for everyone from pro athelete to someone looking to get in shape to someone who maybe justs wants to stretch to improve circulation, flexibility and health. 4 stars, I would have liked more pictures showing the stetches in greater detail. Minto wove together the requirements that logic imposes on the structure and format of argumentative and technical written works. If you try the Minto techniques you will find that not only is your writing more persuasive, but that her techniques transform how you express yourself verbally, and you become much more effective in person. When I got this book, I thought I was in for a load of poorly formatted links to useless extensions, or perhaps ones I already had. However, this book is incredibly useful with screenshots of some extensions and shortened URLs so you can type it quick if you're reading from a Kindle and want to use a computer browser (which, in this case, you probably will). The book also has alternatives to most of the extensions, so you are likely to get a good fit for whatever you need the extension for. I'm going to keep this book around as a reference, particularly for my friends who use chrome since they ask me about it all the time. Totally worth the time!

I was stuck using Firefox for way too long. I started using Chrome right about the same time I came across this book. Perfect timing!The book basically lists out a bunch (138) of extensions that are all pretty handy. The extensions are broken down by topics such as Productivity and Email and Education & Information.In some cases, Tristan provides screen shots to show what the particular extension does/looks like. Every extension has a brief but thorough explanation. Overall, it would be a faster read if I hadn't stopped after reading about each extension to go try them out!Great resource to have if you're a Chrome fan (which now, I'm not sure why you wouldn't be).

With Chrome having recently surpassed Internet Explorer in usage (if only briefly...for now), Tristan Higbee's book is the essential companion to optimizing your Chrome experience. Within the first 10 minutes I found two Must Have extensions that cut so much time out of how I did things before that, well, I can probably leave work earlier each day now...Great addition to my tech library, Tristan, thanks for making the effort.

i got this for a class i was taking, because it's out of print the school couldn't get anymore so i had to turn to online sources. Not only did i get it for a good amount cheaper, it was a hardback too. My only complaint was it took a lot longer to arrive then it said it would so i had to share a friends book for the first two weeks. Other than that it's a wonderful book for writing for children IF you are writing fiction, not so much nonfiction stuff.

I watch this man years ago and the show was always funny and informative. This cookbook is him and his show right in your hands. Love the down Cajun way foods. They remind me of great meals around my families table. I recommend this cookbook to all who want to feast at a Cajun's best. Recipes are easy to follow. Do read through the recipe so you have what is needed before you start. I thought I had an ingredient but in the middle of prep, I found out it was not there! Yes, above I typed tole because that's how he talked and how it is spelled in his cookbooks.

Awesome cookbook. There is an unfortunate lack of videos from his TV show, so the cook book is an excellent alternative. Lots of great recipes and humor to go with it.

I grew up with him on PBS. My father watched him every Saturday, then he wanted me to cook the dish for him. Justin was entertaining, and knew his business. This book is worth trying for any cook.

Used to watch his shows all the time and finally decided to pick up a couple of his cook books while they were still available.

I had this cookbook years ago and it was destroyed by a broken water heater. I was happy to see it available on Amazon and am very happy with it.

This is one of the most gorgeous graphic novels I've seen in quite a while, risque and erotic without ever descending into crudity or crassness, with an elegant Edwardian/steampunk setting in the French countryside and a story blending fantasy, humor, nostalgia and sexiness. LOTS of delightful vintage-themed "good-girl" art from Terry Dodson, one of the best artists at drawing beautiful heroines (and villainesses) working in comic books these days, and Coraline Doucet, the heroine of this story, is as charming and sexy as any female comics protagonist I've seen in years. It's too bad this is pretty much a one-off story, one could wish for a continuing title starring this beauty in more steampunk/Belle Epoque fantasy adventures. Very much recommended.

Beautiful artwork by Terry Dodson! Erotic without explicit. Toned down Manara but better art. My hardback was in English. Wish Dodson would do more in English.

The greatest strenght of this book is it artwork.It is absolutely georgeous and richly detailed.I do not give this book a five star because the storyline is a little weak.I highly recommend this book especially if you are a fan of great artwork.

Art is pretty but comic is too short to be called a volume. Also not very exciting content. Art is pretty but nothing special.
